Patio doors are not merely entrances; they’re gateways to an enhanced living experience, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces while infusing your home with natural light and style.

At All States Home Improvement, we recognize the transformative power of patio doors, offering a diverse range of high-quality options to suit every home’s unique needs.

Expansive Views

Few features can rival the panoramic views offered by patio doors. Whether you’re admiring a lush garden, these doors frame your outdoor space like a work of art, bringing the beauty of nature directly into your home. With our selection of patio doors, you can enjoy uninterrupted vistas while adding a touch of sophistication to your living areas.

Abundant Natural Light

Sunlight has a remarkable ability to uplift moods and create inviting atmospheres. Patio doors act as conduits for natural light, flooding your interiors with warmth and vitality. By maximizing daylight ingress, our doors help reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day, leading to energy savings and an eco-friendlier home environment.

Enhanced Ventilation

Proper airflow is essential for maintaining a comfortable indoor environment, especially during warmer months. Patio doors offer an effective solution by allowing fresh air to circulate freely throughout your home. Whether you opt for sliding, French, or folding designs, each door style promotes seamless airflow, ensuring optimal comfort for you and your family.

Space Optimization

Unlike traditional hinged doors that require ample clearance space, patio doors operate smoothly along tracks or hinges, making them ideal for areas with limited square footage. This space-saving design not only enhances accessibility but also contributes to a more open and spacious feel within your home, creating an inviting atmosphere for both residents and guests.

Versatile Design Options

We understand that every home is unique, which is why we offer a wide array of design options to suit your preferences. From sleek and modern styles to timeless classics, our patio doors come in various materials, finishes, and configurations. Whether you prefer the warmth of wood, the durability of vinyl, or the low maintenance of fiberglass, we have the perfect patio door to complement your home’s architecture and design aesthetic.

Energy Efficiency

Our patio doors are engineered to enhance energy efficiency, helping you save on utility bills while reducing your carbon footprint. With features such as insulated glass, weather stripping, and multi-point locking systems, our doors provide superior thermal performance, keeping your home comfortable and energy-efficient throughout the year.

Whether you’re looking to maximize natural light, enhance ventilation, or add a touch of sophistication to your home, our diverse selection of patio doors at All States Home Improvement has something for everyone.

Here are a few simple tasks you can do to help maintain and extend the overall life and look of your house. Some want that quick fix, to hang up Christmas lights and call it good. You don’t just want your house to look pretty with lights at night but be proud of your home in the daylight too. Owning a home is a big investment that you want to keep in good condition year after year.

Keep up regular maintenance on your home this winter

Owning a home is a big responsibility and investment, and you want to keep it looking nice. If you perform regular maintenance on your home, not only will it look better but investing in maintenance now, will avoid larger expensive repairs in the future. The last thing you want is for an issue to go unnoticed and have it snowball into a major expense.

Stay ahead of the winter storms this year by preparing your home for the chilly season. Ice, sleet, snow, wind, moister, etc. can cause significant damage to your home. Follow these tips to keep your home looking good and staying warm during and after this holiday season.

Keep your siding clean

Take the time to go around the outside of your house and inspect your siding and how it’s holding up. Look for cracks, swelling, rot, mold or separations in your siding. If you see any of those listed, call or contact All States to get a free consultation.

If you have recently installed vinyl siding or James Hardie Fiber Cement siding then you’re in luck. Both sidings require minimal monthly maintenance. If dirt or debris begins to build upon its surface, all it takes is a hose and a damp cloth and your vinyl siding will look factory fresh once again.

Check that your windows are working efficiently

Open your windows, clean, and wipe down the cracks and crevasses. This can make sure your windows fully close to keep the cold air out and the warm heat in. This is also a good time to make sure all your window seals are still in place and functioning correctly. Close and lock your windows to make sure they are secure for the winter. If you are experiencing a draft or moisture in the window, it’s probably time to invest in new windows.

Double-check that the area around your window and windowsill is clear. This will prevent from any outside moister latching on to anything inside your home that could cause internal damage.

Is your roof in good shape?

Who are we kidding, December isn’t a time to prepare for inclement weather, it’s to prepare for the guy in the big red suit to come down your chimney. But take a little time to look at your roof, while hanging those lights, or schedule an inspection to look for rust, missing, broken, or curling shingles. If you believe your roof is damaged contact us for a free consultation.

You should be checking your roof and gutters every few months. Once the leaves are off the trees, that’s a good indicator to check your roof, gutters, and downspouts. Granules in the downspouts can be a sign your roof needs repair. Clear out any leaves and debris to prepare for the heavy winter storms so everything can drain properly. Gutters that are backed up cause overflowing that then leads to water draining down your home – eventually leading to the deterioration of your home’s exterior. It can also lead to deterioration of your foundation, water infiltration in the basement, and settling on your porches, patio, and walkways.

Get your house ready for the cold

Prepare your home for winter, hanging Christmas lights, or even Kris Kringle. Whatever suits you, follow these steps to get your home ready for what this winter season shall bring! Let our family at All States Home Improvement help make your family home more beautiful, comfortable, and valuable.

Updating your home? It’s easy to run out of ideas. Don’t worry, though. We, your trusted doors, windows, and siding contractors in Wichita KS have one more design tip for you: Install oversized windows and doors.

Some homeowners shy away from larger units. We understand your concerns, but if you’re ready to give your home a makeover, here are some of their benefits that may convince you to try them:

Views

Make the most of your stunning landscape using wide units. For example, a long rectangular picture unit can capture a good deal of landscape, sky, or water views. If you’re fond of hosting dinners or gatherings, consider positioning your dining area near a big window. This way, you can impress your guests with nice meals and views at the same time.

Space

Large units are a great way to connect your living space to the outdoors. If you have a well-kept patio, deck, or garden, install an oversized door that leads to it. When you have guests over, they can easily get to these areas. Plus, wide doors make a pleasant first impression on visitors. Their sheer size gives off an open and welcoming feel.

Lighting

If you like hosting daytime gatherings, using large windows and doors can help you create a refreshing and lighthearted ambience. These oversized units allow natural light to spill into many areas of the home, brightening up dark and cramped-looking spaces. They’re a cost-effective investment that might help even reduce your utility bills down the line.

Appeal

Large glass doors and windows can easily become the focal point of any room or space they’re placed in. Although you can use them in any type of home, they look great in modern-looking homes. Match them up with minimalist décor to bring out an ‘urban-pad’ feel to your interiors. When dealing with a big expanse of wall, install wider units to even out proportions. This will create a balanced and cohesive look for your home.

Keep in mind though that not all remodeling companies offer oversized windows and doors. Additionally, larger units are more challenging to install. You also have to be careful with choosing contractors who will install them into your home. To get the best results, make sure you invest in quality installation.

We at All States Home Improvement don’t just offer a wide selection of window and door designs. We also know how to install every one of them. We’ve worked with traditional, contemporary, and specialty windows in a range of shapes, sizes, and colors.
