Arlen was nominated by his daughter Amber, both of Mayfield, Kansas. Arlen pursued a career in aerospace after his time in the Air Force and was also a full-time farmer. He now has degenerative nerve damage in his back and must use a walker to get around which has made it difficult to use the old bathtub in their home.<\/p>\n<p>All States Home Improvement team replaced that tub with a much safer, easy access walk-in shower with bench and handrail in Arlen\u2019s home.<\/p>\n<p>Arlen says, \u201cIt has been wonderful because I have handrails to hang on to with easy step-in access and I love the seat and is comfortable with it. I would recommend All States Home Improvement to anyone because I am mighty proud of the results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"All States Salutes Our Soldiers 2022 Winner!\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q1kwLxH5U2A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>All States Salutes Our Soldiers is looking for local Wichita area veterans who need a home improvement project of new siding, windows, roof or walk-in shower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/allstateshomeimprovement.bcc.digital\/all-states-sos\/\">Nominate a deserving veteran here<\/a>, fill out an entry form, and submit a short essay of 350 words or less telling us about your veteran and how they could benefit from new siding, windows, or roof.<\/p>\n<p>The winning essay will need to provide proof of service in the armed forces and ownership of the home. Must be 13 or older to nominate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/allstateshomeimprovement.bcc.digital\/all-states-sos\/\"><strong>Nominations are accepted now through January 1, 2024.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All States Home Improvement created the All States Salutes Our Soldiers program to find ways to say thank you and respectfully give back to the deserving veterans in our community.
